PRACTICE DAY INFORMATION

REQUIREMENTS

Any riders under 16 cannot ride a 250cc 2 stroke or over 250cc 4 stroke. Protective gear must be worn eg. helmets, long pants, long sleeves, gloves, motorbike boots. No tear offs. No dogs will be allowed. The Practice Day will be run in accordance with the rules and regulations of AMA.

Remember this is a non-competitive event so we would like to encourage any first timers to come and have a go but please remember that there are riders of all skill levels participating in this event.

LOCATION

Cedar Pocket Road (east of Gympie off Tin Can Bay Rd) turn right into Cedar Pocket Road off Tin Can Bay Road, go approx 15 km on left, just past 80 km sign. Signs at entrance.
Canteen operating for lunch.

COST

JUNIORS: (under 16) $30 to ride + $10 for one event licence if required.

SENIORS: $35 to ride + $10 for one event licence if required. Extra $10 to ride extra classes.

You may notice there has been a $10 increase in the cost for riders, this is due to a lack of volunteers offering their time to do the flagging on the track on practise days. As such we are now paying local groups to do this for us and we need to cover this additional cost.

Once you are a financial member you will receive a $5 discount on your ride fee on our practice days.

We wish to advise riders that a 12 month membership is available with AMA for $100 for families and $50 for solo. This entitles the holder to attend any trail ride or practice day for the 12 month period.
